weird... Nightcrawler taking on.... Magneto?!? note - current uniform... so it is NOT a flashback, Mags aint dead! also, present appears to be Nightcrawler, Jean, Scott, Professor X and Wolverine... and is that... Havok??? egad!! Magneto and Havok(?) retuning, and Nightcrawler is there! and looks like he got the jump on Magneto when the others couldn't, too

Looks good and I always liked John Paul Leons art and always wanted to see him do more stuff.Im glad he chose X-Men as one of his new projects.I wonder who the writer is?
I hope Nightcrawler does the multiple ports technique and knocks Magneto unconcious anstead of the usual where Mags controls the iron in Kurts blood and throws him into another X-Man knocking 'him' unconcious.
I kind of wish Magneto would stay dead this time.I mean hes a great character and all but how many times are they going to do this dance? Its loosing credibility.
That sure looks like Havoks power signature on the second to last page but doesnt look quite like the Alex I remember.Hmm....maybe the purpose of this one-shot is to reintroduce his character?I guess will have to wait and see.
Thanks for the link Nocturne.

brilliant art. Very promising. How do you find all these things? I'm impressed...

I dunno, but it seems to have all the hallmarks of a danger room scene to me. Notice how the professor and Jean look vaguely amused at it all.

Can't say that I like that art at all. Not saying it's bad, just that I dislike it. A LOT.

Magneto's latest "death" was probably his least convincing yet.
He's gotten abducted by aliens, burried in molten lava, bured up in the earths atmosphere, and mindwhiped, and many things I can't remember.
Showing Wolverine stabbing him and then the X-men hanging out in the mansion in the next panel was nothing.
Magneto's been over used. But I don't think he'll ever DIE die. Cause there'll always be a writer that wants to use him.

But that giant chunk of flaming metal going right through his penthouse in New X-Men #115 might stick.
I dunno. Joe Q has his "dead is dead" policy now. I don't think characters are gonna be coming back to life for a while, at least not until a new EiC comes aboard.
